A Little About Me
I made the decision in September of 2016 that I wanted to return to work. At the time I was a stay-at-home mom of a four-month-old daughter. I loved being home with her but I really missed working. I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do, but I knew I needed to do something. I began researching and about nine months later, I was scrolling through my facebook feed and came across a girl offering her VA services. I checked out her website and immediately knew it was something I needed to look into.
I researched for about another month or so and in August of 2017, I knew that starting my own VA business would be best for me and my family. Once my decision was made, it was like everything fell into place. I immersed myself in several different courses, learning how to not only build my business but also run it successfully on social media. The coursesand membership sitehave not only given me the knowledge to be a successful social media manager, but they have also given me the confidence to run social media accounts for other people.
I have learned the ins and outs of digital marketing on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter; I am learning Pinterest now. My goal is to be well versed across all platforms, so that I will be able to guide my clients on the right path, by providing them with the right content based on the channel they have chosen to promote their brand.
I like to work directly with my clients to really capture their overall vision for their company. We discuss goals, visions, and ideas that they have for their brand. I then take those ideas and make them a reality. We work together to discuss what they want, why we should take the approach we are and how I plan to achieve their goals.
Aside from helping clients and sharing great content on social media, I have also begun blogging! Not something I ever thought I would do, but honestly now that I’ve tried it, I really love it! In my blogs, I have mostly focused on becoming a virtual assistant and running a virtual assistant business.
If you have thought about starting your own VA business or are interested in what a virtual assistant does, I would recommend you check out my blog. I think you'll be impressed with all of the content!

Inspiration Behind My Business
As I mentioned above, I loved staying home, but I also have big goals for my family. I am a millennial who wants to have it all, with the passion and drive to get there.
I am a goal driven person, who loves checklists and dreaming big. Being this type of person pushes me to be the best I possibly can be and to strive for perfection.
As soon as I made the decision to start my business, I got to work. I sat down and mapped out my visions and goals for my business, figured out which services I wanted to offer and began to form my business plan.
Even in the early planning and researching stages of my business, I began to feel myself come alive again. I had passion and drive. Something I hadn’t seen in myself for a very long time.
To me, the most satisfying part of my job is that I am able to do things that I love while helping other people better themselves and their lives.

Work and Personal life
Interested in where, when and how I work?
I work from home 98% of the time with the occasional trip to Starbucks or handling business from my phone while I’m shopping at Target. The majority of the time, however, I am sitting in my office, typing away or checking messages on my iPhone.
Because my primary focus is my family, I work around their schedules. I currently work in time blocks, which consists of before my daughter wakes, while she naps and after she goes to bed. I also work on Friday and Saturday nights and on Sundays during the day. In order to maximize my time that I am able to work, I batch most all of my tasks and focus on which tasks will have the highest ROI.

“Sarah and I were team members in Project Management. We worked as a team and when decisions had to be made in short order, Sarah would usually take the reins and get the decisions solidified. I highly recommend Sarah for leadership and planning positions, she can work both individually and with a team.”
